By using RiggedResume ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

RiggedResume is a resume optimization tool that adds invisible text layers to PDF documents. The purpose of the optimization is to improve how applicant tracking systems (ATS) parse and score your resume against job listings. The output PDF is visually identical to your original document.

2. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for how you use the output generated by the Service. RiggedResume does not guarantee any specific outcome, including but not limited to interview invitations, job offers, or passing any particular ATS screening. You acknowledge that using optimized documents is your own decision and that you bear full responsibility for any consequences.

3. Accounts and Email

No account creation is required to use RiggedResume. We collect your email address solely for the purpose of gating access to the free tier and for marketing communications. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

4. Payment and Refunds

Each resume optimization after the free tier costs $9, processed securely through Stripe. Because the Service delivers a digital product immediately upon processing, all sales are final and no refunds will be issued. RiggedResume does not store your payment card information; all payment data is handled entirely by Stripe.

5. Data Handling

Resume files and job listing content you provide are processed ephemerally and automatically deleted within 24 hours of submission. A cryptographic hash of your email address is stored to enforce free-tier gating. Your raw email address is stored only within our email marketing platform for the purpose of sending transactional and marketing communications. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of your resume content and all intellectual property rights therein. RiggedResume does not claim any ownership of your inputs (resume, job listing) or outputs (optimized PDF). We do not use your content for training purposes or share it with third parties beyond what is necessary to provide the Service.

7. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. RiggedResume does not guarantee that the optimization will pass any specific ATS, result in any particular score, or lead to any hiring outcome. The tool is provided for resume optimization purposes only.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RiggedResume and its owners, operators, affiliates, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, regardless of the theory of liability. In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim.

9. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
